I am pleased to say my doors are open!
Hey, Y'all! I'm Donna LaCroix Zitterbart, the Owner and Master Stylist at LaCroix Salon. I hope you are doing well.
I am a wife, mother to three beautiful children, and a dog mom.
My family lives in Marietta, and my daughter attended school in Kennesaw and is now headed to college in Georgia. This area has truly become home, and we love it here. I grew up a little bit of everywhere as an Air Force Brat, but spent most of my youth and early adult years in Clemmons, North Carolina. In high school, I attended the Vo-Tech for Cosmetology and then completed my hours at Pennsylvania Academy of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences in Johnstown, PA. I am licensed in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina.
After moving to Georgia in 2023, I decided it was time to open the little salon I've always wanted. I found a home at Phenix Salon Suites in Marietta at Towne Center Prado.
The problem with relocating to a new state is that your clients don't typically follow you. I have been very blessed. I have a supportive group of friends in Georgia who encouraged me to open my salon.
Having a dream become a reality doesn't mean much when you don't have any clients. Although I am new to the area, I bring years of experience to the floor.
I have done price comparisons in Atlanta and even across the country. I worked diligently to set reasonable prices and offer discounts when able.
My salon is accessible twenty-four hours per day, and I offer flexible scheduling by appointment. I understand that everyone does not work normal hours. I have personal knowledge of this since my parents were in the Air Force when I was born. My mom went on to be a police officer, while my dad remained on active duty. Fun fact: I worked as a 911 Operator in my early 20s. These experiences allowed me a firsthand view into the lives of first responders. I offer a 20% discount to first responders. Children are welcome in my salon as clients or guests.
